Fury warrior PvE Guide

Movements & positioning

A fury warrior’s role in a raid is pretty simple: Rotate abilities for maximized DPS while moving out of AoE. Warriors are melee DPS meaning that unlike ranged we need to watch our position closely, for example to NOT stand in front of a boss. By doing that we’ll get ourselves cleaved, and most likely get 1-shot. Best way of not fucking up is to keep your eyes open at all time and pay attention to what’s going on around you. This is where the PvP multitasking skills get to shine!

Talents & Glyphs

Prime Glyphs

• Glyph of Cleaving - more aoe damage
• Glyph of Whirldwind - must have reduce CD
• Glyph of Heroic Strike - must have dont miss it !!!

Minor Glyphs

• Glyph of Battle Shout
• Glyph of Command
• Glyph of enduring Victory

This is the standard fury warrior spec for raiding.

Key binds

My Key bind for Dps rotation is using mouse Scroll mod with Ctrl alt shift
1,2 for def skill and mobility skill
3 Slam
4 Execute
So While Raid i will scrool up and scrool down my mouse wheel
If it need Aoe i hold my shift for aoe damage
and hit button 3 for use slam

Damage Rotation for max DPS

Fell Ur Character Global cooldown skill and Fell your warrior Rage u can reach max dps. And dont be LAG.
Latency FPS can REDUCE YOUR GCD AND UR DPS !!!

Stats!

What’s good for a fury warrior? (Also from EJ)
First get 8% hit (7 hit from talent we get +1% hit rating] , follow up with expertise cap (26 / 26) and then go for STR > Crit > Hit > Mastery > Haste. And yeah… even with the soft expertise cap there is still 7% is chance for bosses to parry your attacks. Regardless, don’t get more then 26/26 expertise.

Enchants

Head = Attact Power Crit

Shoulder = Attact Power Crit

Cloak = 22 Agy

Chest =10 all stat

Wrists = Attack Power

Weapon 1 = Berserking

Weapon 2 = monggose

Hands = Attack power / Hit Rating

Legs = 75 Ap Crit Rating

Feet = Minor Movement Speed / attack power / hit and crit rating

Gemming

How to gem is based on socket color and socket bonus. Your main goal when gemming is to optain as much Armor Penet as possible, When it Reach 100% Armor penet swicth to Str Gem.

Professions

BS – 2 extra sockets
JC – Improved gems (67 Arpen instead of 40)
JC / BS is the best combination this 335 patch if JCs get improved JC gems :) we’ll see.
Engineering – Enchants Roket on gloves, Nitro Boot Very usefull at PVP Battleground.

Racials:

Alliance:

Human:

5+ expertise with sword  + a PvP trinket if you were to get CCd in PvE (yes it is possible). Decent race because you can drop some expertise for crit if you were to use an axe or a sword in main-hand. An alright race, but nothing special besides the expertise bonus.

Dwarf:

5+ expertise with mace Can definitely help out the healers a bit when the raid is taking massive AoE damage, not a very good race for PvE though. Stone Form Racial skill very use to remove debuff and poison

Gnome:

Cute and fluffy, but useless.

Night elf:

Only positive thing about nelf in PvE is that you can shadowmeld when you’re at High agrro % .

Draenei:

Buff 1%+ hit chance for whole Raid and an ability to heal a friendly target.

Horde:

Orc:

the racial gives increase attack power which is better than a Landslide proc and a 3+ expertise if you wear an axe. Definitely a good race for PvE.

Troll:

Racial gives like 20% haste and that’s actually pretty badass if you combine it with your CDs. The haste will significantly increase your rage, meaning that you can pull a lot more DPS when CDs are up!

Undead:

Useless.

Tauren:

Does have the stun to interrupt trash mobs but all in all a shit race for PvE unless you tank.

Rage starvation!

You are very likely to rage starve at some point whether it’s sooner or later. The best thing to do when it happens on a boss encounter is to use bloodrage  gain30 rage, and slowly work on your rotation. If you have already used your shout, stand still and auto attack for about 2 – 4 seconds until you hit 45 – 60 rage and then start with the standard rotation:
